Founded in 1885, NEASC  is the oldest accreditation agency in America and one of the six accreditation agencies authorized by the US Department of Education.   NEASC accredits and supports more than 2000 public and private schools, colleges and universities. The MacDuffie School Granby received NEASC accreditation in 1930 and has been continuously accredited ever since.
