The
MacDuffie
School

The American Curriculum is a complete curriculum which extends from Kindergarten to Grade 12.  Students in America follow a flexible program which allows them to learn across many subjects and at their own pace.  At MacDuffie, the curriculum follows the American Common Core standards and allows for AP subjects to be studied at all MacDuffie Schools who have received College Board approval.

AP are external examinations which assess the knowledge of specific subjects.  AP courses can be studied at selected MacDuffie Schools in China.  All MacDuffie students are eligible to take specific AP examinations within China.

All MacDuffie Schools in China offer a rigorous learning experience which is aligned to the American Curriculum and also delivers so much more.  Students at MacDuffie are able to study a wide variety of subjects leading to AP courses and examinations.  Students are also taught the skills needed to succeed within today’s world.  Subjects such as Critical Thinking and Cultural Experience, along with cross curricula learning and a strong support system allow all students to be pushed to achieve their full potential.
The MacDuffie curriculum has been tailored to suit the needs of students in China, allowing students to experience the high standards of education from our American campus, along with the skills and knowledge needed in China today.
The MacDuffie curriculum is more than a set of classes, it is a promise of success in learning to all students.   Whatever the starting point, the MacDuffie Curriculum will allow you to soar.
