MacDuffie's school flower is a magnolia. This flower represents a determination courage, elegancy and generosity. The school holds the Magnolia Cup to commend the outstanding students in all aspects.

STEAM周是为庆祝天津美达菲学校的科学、数学以及艺术项目。由此引出了数学日-全球为纪念爱因斯坦诞辰而设立的节日，并且这一天已经成为初出茅庐的科学家们展示他们创造力和专业能力的焦点。
Steam Week is a celebration of the science, math, and arts programs at Tianjin MacDuffie School. This led to Pi Day, a global holiday in honor of Einstein's birthday that has become a focal point for budding scientists to show off their creativity and expertise.

This interesting culture began with the St. Patrick’s Day of the Irish, who used the green four-leaf clover as a symbol of hope and renewal. Later, many people from other countries and races were deeply attracted by this positive energy festival and began to wear this beautiful color on this day.

Pi Day起源于麻省理工学院（MIT），MIT提议要将3月14日定为圆周率日。2009年，美国众议院正式通过这一决议。一般来说，大家从3月14日下午1点59分开始庆祝这一伟大的数学盛会。
Pi Day originated at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), which proposed making March 14 Pi Day. In 2009, the United States House of Representatives formally passed the resolution. We celebrate this great mathematical event from March 14 at 1:59 p.m.

Our MacDuffie Mustang has been nameless for too long! We are now having a naming contest. Between now and Friday view our stories and submit your name idea in the box that says 'Name Ideas'. The top 10 names will then be posted on Saturday. Next week bracket voting will start to choose or eliminate the names. Help us give our dear Mustang a name!
